We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal data. By accessing or using JB CENTRAL (the “App”), you acknowledge and agree to abide by this Privacy Policy Statement, without any exceptions. You may not access or use this App if you do not agree to this Privacy Policy Statement. JBCPL reserves the right to add, remove, or modify this information at any time without prior notification. 

Collection of Personal Information: JB CENTRAL is designed as an internal platform exclusively for JB Pharma India Business employees only for employment related engagements and not a public app. This is not meant to collect or receive personal information belonging to external individuals.

Active Collection of Information: JBCPL collects personal information that you enter into data fields on JB CENTRAL. For example, you may submit or share your name, employee ID, designation, department, email address, contact details, and other professional information to access resources, receive updates, and interact within the platform. To protect your privacy, please do not provide JB with any information that is not specifically requested. If you register using your corporate credentials, JB CENTRAL may retrieve relevant details from the employee database to facilitate seamless access and engagement within the App.

Passive Collection of Information: JB CENTRAL may collect information about your usage patterns within the App using technologies such as cookies, internet tags, and web beacons. This information may include:

• Device details (e.g., operating system, browser version)
• Internet Protocol (IP) addresses
• GPS location data (if applicable)
• App usage analytics
• Login timestamps

These technologies help us improve your experience, optimize platform performance, compile usage statistics, and ensure security compliance.

Intended Use of Personally Identifiable Information: JBCPL will use the personal information you provide through the App for the following purposes: Employee engagement and communication, Internal collaboration and knowledge sharing, Access to official policies, training materials, and organizational updates, Compliance with employment and corporate governance policies. JBCPL shall collect, store, and use your information in compliance with all applicable laws. Employees can opt out of receiving marketing-related notifications within the App settings. However, communications related to employment, internal policies, and mandatory updates cannot be opted out of.

Non‐Disclosure of Information: Personal information on the App may be accessed by: JBCPL and its authorized personnel, Internal departments responsible for HR, IT, and corporate communications. Third-party service providers engaged by JB for maintaining the App, subject to confidentiality agreements and data protection policies. JBCPL does not sell or rent employee personal information to any third party. JBCPL may share personal information with a third party if required for further processing related to employment or compliance with legal requirements. Any such sharing will be done in accordance with the confidentiality agreement with the third party and applicable law.

Protection of Personal Information: JBCPL implements appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect employee data. However, the confidentiality of personal information transmitted over the internet cannot be guaranteed. Employees are advised to use discretion while sharing any sensitive information within the App. JBCPL is not obligated to store employee information beyond the intended purpose for which it was collected. Data retention will align with employment policies and applicable laws.

Account Deletion and Employee Exit Policy: Account deletion in JB CENTRAL is managed by JBCPL and will be governed by employment terms. Upon cessation of employment, JBCPL reserves the right to deactivate or delete an employee’s account in line with company policies. Employees may not request independent deletion of their account while in active service, except under specific compliance-related circumstances.

Links to Third-Party Platforms JB CENTRAL may provide links to other internal or external resources, such as HR portals, compliance training platforms, and knowledge repositories. While these links are provided for employee convenience, JBCPL is not responsible for the data handling practices of third-party platforms.

Cookies and Web Beacons: JB CENTRAL may use cookies and similar technologies to: Personalize user experience, improve security, Analyse usage patterns. Employees can manage cookie preferences through their browser settings, but disabling cookies may affect certain functionalities within the App.

Use of JB CENTRAL by Employees: JB CENTRAL is strictly for use by JB Pharma India Business employees. Unauthorized access, misuse, or sharing of App content with external individuals is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action as per company policies.

Marketing and Internal Communication: Employees may receive notifications and updates via JB CENTRAL. If employees wish to opt out of non-mandatory communications, they may adjust their preferences within the App settings.

Complaints and Grievances: Any complaints, concerns, or violations related to personal data or the use of JB CENTRAL must be reported to info@jbpharma.com.

Change in Policy

JBCPL reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy without prior notice to reflect technological advancements, legal and regulatory changes, and corporate policies. The effective date of the revised Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
